The reverse of the coin features a dramatic and dynamic design by Jody Clark depicting St George on horseback as he drives his lance into the body of the scaled dragon. The design is set upon a textured background and is surrounded by a border detailing the coin’s year date, weight, and fineness.
The obverse of the coin bears the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III designed by sculptor Martin Jennings, along with the coin’s monetary denomination of 100 pounds.
